Most of us know that diabetes is quite a disease to be afraid off. According to the results of a recent research by the Millennium Research Group it is proven that about 65% of the diabetic patients are prone to die from coronary heart diseases. Conclusions reached by the MRG’s research team validate that the treatment of diabetes with pharmaceuticals alone will not be enough to care for the 21 million people in the US and all the other around the world.
According to the research a medical procedure termed "coronary revascularization" is gaining importance as it is proven effective in saving the diabetic patients from the coronary attacks. Diabetes is a devilish disease that negatively affects almost all the body functions. It frequently affects the cardiovascular system severely.
Analysts at MRG have found out that intervention beyond the periphery of pharmaceuticals is significant as it is required to restore necessary blood flow is very often necessary to save a diabetic patient’s life. This can be done in any of these two ways, either through an endoscopic procedure that works from inside the blood vessels, or through an open surgery that works from outside the blood vessels.
Diabetes is a disease that results in the body’s inability to convert food to energy. The American diabetes Association reports that 7% of population suffers from this disease. More alarming is the MRG report, which says that nearly one-third of the people who suffer from diabetes are not yet diagnosed, and thus, are not being treated
