  • If the individual is African American, Asian American, Native American, Hispanic American/Latino or Pacific Islander.
  • If the individual is a woman who gave birth to a child over 9 pounds

If an individual has any of thee above situations, he or she is at the risk of having diabetes. Though these early diabetes symptoms may be due to other health issues too, you should consult a doctor and talk to him about it. The doctor would determine whether you have diabetes or not, by determining the blood sugar level and also by seeing the early symptoms of diabetes.
